Becoming a Beta Tester with Centercode is simple. If you don't have one already, you'll begin by creating a user account on OnlineBeta.com. Please note that doing so requires a great deal of information, so please set aside 15 minutes or so to complete your profile.
The following are the types of information you will be either required or asked to provide. This information helps us understand who you are, and helps us match your interests and capabilities with beta opportunities.

The first step of creating an OnlineBeta.com account is to provide basic information including your name, login information (username & password), and a secret question and answer to reset your password if you forget it. Lastly, the E-mail address you provide here is extremely important as all of our beta announcements are sent to this address.
Your Member Profile includes information about you, your interests, experience, and how you would like us to contact you. This information is used as part of our recruitment process to ensure that we recruit the right candidates for every test.

In addition to information about you, it's important for us to understand the types of products you own and use. These are called Test Platforms, as they're often used as the platform for the products you'll beta test. For example you may be testing software which runs on a computer, so by adding the details about your computer as a Test Platform we'll be able to recruit you specifically for beta tests which match your available hardware.
Once you've created your user account you are eligible to beta test products. Recruitments are sent to the E-mail address provided in your User Account Settings from betacall@centercode.com. Please be absolutely certain that this address is not blocked by your spam filter (adding this address to your contacts should do the trick). On average we send 1 to 2 unique recruitment E-mail per week, but in order to receive one you must match the requirements of that test. All of our requirements are different, so please be patient and keep all of your profile information updated as best you can.

As a member of OnlineBeta.com you'll have access to our community project which allows you to communicate with other beta testers around the world. This project includes user forums and from time-to-time surveys for Beta Testers, as well as the ability to refer Beta Tests to us, and announce them to the Community. You can access this at any time from your OnlineBeta.com Homepage.
It's very important to stress that we would never sell or provide your information for marketing purposes of any kind. We are in the business of managing beta tests and developing our Beta Test Management System - and nothing else. Your information is used only for selection into beta tests, and optionally - notification of new Beta Communities built on our software.
