
Connect Community Edition is special version of Connect that includes all of the community level features of Connect, such as Surveys, Custom Sign-Up Workflows, and Reporting; along with access to all previous project feedback and data, but without the ability to launch new Projects.
Community Edition provides a very cost effective method to manage the down-time between beta tests, while still providing a Portal for customers to continue to sign up and update their User Profile and Test Platform information, in addition to full access to historic analytics.
Community Edition is intended to reduce your costs by allowing you to pay for only what you need, when you need it. For example, if you plan to run Beta Tests for 4 months of the year, you could purchase 4 months of Standard Edition, when you need them, along with 8 months of Community Edition. This would provide all of the benefits of a persistent Beta Portal, while only paying for the deeper feature set necessary to run projects as you need it.
A Connect Community Edition licenses is offered at a flat rate of $250 per month. Multiple Community Edition Licenses are unnecessary as user seat limits scale to your total previous Standard or Enterprise Licenses. If you are new to Connect and have not purchased a previous License, your initial community (candidate pool) will be limited to 2,500 members. This limit can be increased as part of a custom package if necessary.
Upgrading to a different Connect Edition requires paying only the difference between the base monthly license fees. In the case of Connect Standard Edition, this is $750 per month for the first license, and $1,000 per month for each additional license. For Connect Enterprise Edition, this is $1,250 per month for the first license, and $1,500 per month for each additional license and month.
Absolutely. Community Licenses are an excellent way to begin seeding a Beta Portal with Community Members prior to starting a Beta Program. In this scenario you would simply pay $250 per month until you choose to upgrade to either Standard or Enterprise Edition to begin running your first Beta Test.
Connect Editions are billed in monthly increments, and therefore you can switch Editions up to once per month. Note that you may switch at any point in the month, as the upgrade difference will be billed independently. For example, if you purchased a Connect Community License on the 1st, and then upgraded to Standard on the 15th - you would be billed $250 on the 1st of following months, and $750 on the 15th of following months. We would also be happy to work with you to combine these two bills into one.
Yes, and you'll gain the same benefits of other annual contracts. Committing to an annual Community License, but paying monthly will gain you a 13th month for free. Committing to an annual license and paying up front will net you both the 13th month and a 10% discount, resulting in a total annual cost of $2,700.
