According to ISO/IEC 25010:2011, there are eight quality characteristics of software quality: functional suitability, reliability, operability/usability, performance efficiency, security, compatibility, maintainability, and portability.

Companies use delta testing to improve quality outcomes by surfacing issues and expanding use cases through real-world validation.
